Wouldn’t it be great if in addition to learning the 3 R’s, standard school curriculum would include a mandatory Life Class? Unlike the case made with calculus and possibly chemistry, it’s not like anyone could use the “when will I ever use this” excuse.
You would learn valuable lessons, and gain the tools needed to maneuver your way through life. You would be equipped with a sort of reference book, filled with useful gems that would save time, mental energy, and pain as you try to answer the questions of life. There would be no tests in Life Class 101: just the promise that if you know how to look, you’ll free yourself from much illusion, clearing the path to you. And ultimately, this is the greatest lesson the school of life has to teach.
What lessons would have helped you along your way?
