Walled in?

Brick Wall“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” ~ Rumi

How we move through life is a reflection of how connected we are to our true selves.  When we feel trapped or stuck, it is an inner call letting us know that we are out of alignment; we are not living in agreement with the part of us that only moves in the direction of love.  Our task becomes to find the walls that stand between us and love,  tear them down, walk around them, or simply watch them crumble in the light of our awareness.

“I have lived on the lip
of insanity, wanting to know reasons,
knocking on a door. It opens.
I’ve been knocking from the inside.” ~ Rumi
